The Assistant Loco Pilot exam is conducted by the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB). RRB is a government agency that conducts recruitment for Group C and Group D non-gazetted civil services and engineering positions in the railway sector.

Railway Loco Pilot Application Fee
Applicants are required to pay the application fee using online mode, offline mode via SBI Bank Branch for Challan Payment, or through the post office. Here’s how:
- ONLINE fee payment can be done through Internet banking or debit/credit cards.
- OFFLINE fee payment is possible through SBI Bank Branch for Challan Payment mode.
- Post Office Challan Payment mode is available in any branch of computerized Post Office.
Candidates will receive a refund of Rs. 400 for general category and Rs. 250 for others after completing the Railway ALP CBT 1 Exam.

Step 2: On the homepage, click on the notification for Railway Loco Pilot Vacancy CEN No. 1/2024 and carefully read the Railway Loco Pilot Notification.
Step 3: After reading, return to the RRB website and click on the “Apply >> Create an account” tab.
Step 4: Register yourself for the Railway ALP Exam on the respective regional RRB website.
Step 5: For registration, check the declaration box and then click on the “Proceed” button.
Step 6: The Railway Loco Pilot Registration Page will appear on your screen.
Step 7: Now, fill in your basic details – your name, parents’ names, contact information, email, etc.
Step 8: As soon as you click the “Submit” button, you will receive an OTP. Please proceed accordingly.
Step 9: After the OTP is validated, process the email generated for login credentials.
Step 10: Log in with your credentials and provide the details asked for in the Railway Loco Pilot application form.
Step 11: Make the required payment for the Railway ALP application fee. Failure to pay the fee will result in the rejection of your application.
Step 12: Download a copy of the application form and take a hard copy for future reference. Save it for further use.
